Sandra Joan "Sandy" McKown, 75, died Jan. 27, 2023, at Hospice House.  She was born Feb. 27, 1947, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Lee T. and Dorothy (Shores) Moore.

Sandy was a lifetime Hutchinson resident, a 1965 graduate of Hutchinson High School and a retired bookkeeper at Good Samaritan Village.

She is survived by: son, Scott Galemore (Jeanie) of Goessel, KS; daughter Mindy Geist (Derek) of Edmond, OK; brother, Ron Moore (Bernice) of Hutchinson, KS; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the South Hutchinson Community Center, 101 W. Ave. "C", South Hutchinson, KS.
