Sandra 'Sandy' Jean Stone, 70, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021, at Newton Medical Center. She was a former Burrton resident, born March 11, 1950, in Hutchinson, to Bernard 'Bud' and Maxine (Robertson) Stone.

Sandy graduated from Burrton High School and was a cook, retiring from Burrton Schools.

She enjoyed all of her pets when living on her farm, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, her son's auto racing events, and Gunsmoke.

Survivors include: sons, Casey Schrag and wife Monica of Nickerson, and Adam Schrag and wife Rachelle of Hutchinson; brother, Gregg Stone of Inman; sisters, Lynn Moulton and husband Jerry of Hutchinson, and Kathy Considine and husband Phil of Halstead; seven grandchildren, Walker, Pearson, Josie, Carter, Parker, Taylor and Piper; three step-grandchildren, Tommy, Blaine, and Brooke; two great-grandchildren, Brinnley and Rhetson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by: her parents and grandparents, Austin and Docia Stone, and Wallace and Eva Robertson.

Private family graveside service will be held in Burrton Cemetery, with Pastor Ron Jones presiding.

Friends may sign her book from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson, Kansas.
