Scott J. Chase's Obituary
Scott J. Chase, 53, died Feb. 28, 2010, at Promise Regional Medical Center ER.
He was born Oct. 6, 1956, in Wichita, the son of Harry Jack and Marie Ten Kley Chase.
He graduated from Haven High School in 1974. Scott owned a consignment and auction house, T.A.N.K.S., (Tools. Antiques. Nicknacks. Kollectibles. Specialties) in South Hutchinson.
On July 5, 1984, he married Patty Garver in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Katie Marie Chase and Shawna Jae Chase, both of the home; his father, Harry Jack Chase of Fairfield Bay, Ark.; two sisters, Vicky Hawes of Minnetonka, Minn., and Jackie Chase of Fort Myers, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Chase, and a nephew, Brennan Garvey.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2010, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Darlow. Friends may call Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to the Chase Children's Education Fund in care of the mortuary.
