Scott Edwin Neher, 56, died September 18, 2021, at his home. He was born February 11, 1965, in Pittsburg, to Doyle H. and Sharon K. (Bailey) Neher.

Scott worked as a maintenance technician at Mennonite Friendship Communities in South Hutchinson for 34 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and camping. Scott was a member of the Amateur Radio Association and Maranatha Mennonite Church.

On March 25, 1989, he married Linda Ruth Boese in South Hutchinson. She survives.

Also surviving are: children, Christopher Neher (Savana) of Hutchinson, Katelyn Harmon (Dustin) of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Shiloh Neher and Seriniti Harmon; parents, Doyle and Sharon Neher of Pfeifer; siblings, Steve Neher (Jolene) of Lawrence, Vicki Stoll (Dave) of Collinsville, OK, Pam Hernandez (Marcelo) of Branson, MO, Jeff Neher (Jesica) of Pfeifer; and numerous extended family members.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Maranatha Mennonite Church, 3115 Blanchard SW, Hutchinson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 1-8 p.m. Sunday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the church.
