Scott James 'Scotty' Black, 58, of Hutchinson, died Thursday, March 29, 2018. He was born December 18, 1959, in Emporia, the son of George and Bonita 'Bonnie' Black.

Scotty is survived by: mother, Bonnie Black of Topeka; sisters, Debbie Adams of Hutchinson, Sheila Knoll (Gary) of Topeka; brother, Craig Black (Joni) of Emporia; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and caregivers, who were like family.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Celebration of Life will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2018, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary.
