Sharen K. 'Sherry' Gossett, 57, died July 7, 2012, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born Feb. 6, 1955, in Wichita, to Eldon Leon and Letha Jean Blew Wood.

Sherry attended the Venue, enjoyed music (especially rock'n'roll), was a social butterfly, and had a deep love for her dog, Maggie.
She is survived by: her daughter, Angie Byard; a grandson, Cale Byard; a sister, Kathryn Stowell and husband Bill; sister-in-law, Mary Wood; two nephews; and a niece, all of Hutchinson.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lonny Wood.

Cremation has taken place. The family would like to encourage all friends and family to attend a Celebration of Life service starting at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Knights of Columbus, 1200 W. 15th Ave.
