Sharon Carson, 58, ascended into heaven on January 13, 2022. She was born on November 25, 1963, in Newton, Kansas, to Edwin D. Soper of Calico Rock, Arkansas, and Mary Jean (Nienstedt) Soper of South Hutchinson, Kansas.

Per her wish, Sharon was a donor to the Saving Sight program with the Kansas Eye Bank. Her generous donation will provide someone else with the gift of sight.

Sharon was a 1982 graduate of Nickerson High School and owner of Sharon's Sweeties Daycare for 20 years. She enjoyed traveling with walks on the beach, time spent at Kanopolis Lake, and taking casino trips with her husband. Sharon loved spending time with family and friends. She had a heart of gold, with a strong belief in her faith. Sharon will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.

She was married to Chuck Carson on August 26, 1994. To this union, one child was born.

Sharon is survived by: her husband; son, Tristan; stepson, Cameron (Katrina and two infant twin boys); mother and father; one brother, Edwin W. (Debbie) Soper; four sisters, Nancy (Steve) LaMunyon, Gayla (Burt) Stallknecht, Dawna Rein, and Kris (Dominic) Geniuk; 10 nieces; 7 nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; an uncle; and a nephew.

Memorial service will 1 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Elliott Mortuary, with Father Ted Blakely officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, at Elliott Mortuary.
