Sharon Charlene Griffin, 68, died May 15, 2014, at Wesley Medical Center. She was born May 25, 1945, in Abilene, to Charles F. and Estelle G. Geske Myers. On April 24, 1963, she married John R. Griffin in Torrington, Wyo. He died September 16, 1984. She retired from the Social Security Administration as an administrative assistant.

Survivors include: two sons, Shawn Griffin and wife Sherri, Cedar Creek, Texas, and Patrick Griffin and wife Olivia, Buhler; daughter, Lori Griffin, Wichita; sister, Betty Wiegert, Salina; brother, Jim Myers, Salina; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Charles Myers, mother and stepfather, Estelle and Raymond Hibler, and brothers, Bill and Richard Myers.

Funeral will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Matt Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
