Obituary

Sharon Ruth Likins, 76, of Hutchinson, died November 12, 2025, at Good Samaritan Society, Hutchinson. She was born July 5, 1949, in Lamar, Colorado, to Marlin and Ella (Needham) McQueen.

Sharon spent her life taking care of those around her. She was a life-long homemaker who loved the Lord and stayed faithful until the end. Sharon was a devoted family woman who cherished every moment with her loved ones and loved them deeply. Her wisdom, kindness and warmth made her a wonderful mother and mother-in-law. Sharon enjoyed the festivities of the Kansas State Fair spending time going through all the buildings with her sister. She loved the color green especially lime green and even a had motorized scooter hand painted by her son to reflect her favorite color.

On June 27, 1969, she married William Likins. They shared 40 years of marriage before his death on August 12, 2009.

Sharon is survived by: sons, Keith (Cece) Likins, Kevin (Shelley) Kennedy, and Kurt (Cherry) Kennedy; sister, Judie Baxter; brother, Keith McQueen; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and beloved Chihuahua companion, Taco.

She was preceded in death by her: parents; husband, William Likins; and brothers, Larry and Gary Fisher.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
