Sharon Lea Miller, 78, died February 20, 2018, at Schowalter Villa in Hesston. She was born March 21, 1939, in Hutchinson, to Earl and Lois (Vinson)Johnson.
Sharon was a homemaker who loved to bake and take care of her family. She also owned the Happy Hair Beauty Salon in Burrton for a number of years until she sold the business. Sharon then worked in the trust department at Emprise Bank & Trust in Hutchinson and at Yoder Concrete in Burrton before her retirement. She was a member of Burrton United Methodist Church, Burrton.
Sharon married Francis E. Luginbill on August 15, 1957. He died in August of 1981. She then married Dean L. Miller on August 8, 1991. He died in February of 2005.
Survivors include: son, Randal Luginbill (Sherry) of Cloverdale, CA; daughters, Linda Janzen (Dave) of Burrton, Carla Luginbill of Overland Park, Denise Shockey of Wichita, Shawn Voth (Don) of Marion; 11 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and a sister, Peggy Ricketts (Howard) of Wichita.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her two husbands; and a daughter, Jenell Miller.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018, in Burrton Cemetery, Burrton, with Pastor Nanette Roberts officiating. Friends may sign the book 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Friday at Elliott Mortuary. Following the service, everyone is invited to the Burrton United Methodist Church for Sharon's children's and grandchildren's favorite cookies.
