ABBYVILLE - Sharon Jeanette Moore, 69, passed away Dec. 2, 2009.
She was born Nov. 11, 1940, in Hutchinson, to Owen and Oral Hughbanks Hodges.
She was a homemaker and was caretaker for many.
On April 12, 1957, she married Allan Moore. He survives along with their sons, David and wife Tammy, Nickerson, Wade, Hutchinson, Brian and wife Janet, Newton, and Kyle, Hutchinson. She was also blessed with 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Sharon was the oldest of four, a sister to Gary and his wife Cherry Hodges, Lyons, Lila Hodges, Sterling, Debbie and her husband Dennis Gehring, South Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by parents, a brother, Don Hodges, and two granddaughters.
Service will be held at Elliott Mortuary, Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Pastor David R. Landis presiding. Friends may call 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday with family to receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. all at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Peace Creek Cemetery on the Stafford/Reno County line.
Memorials may be given to Hospice House or Christ's Bible Church, Nickerson, in care of the mortuary.
