Sharon Sue Pauls, 83, died November 8, 2024, at Paramount Community Living and Rehab in Newton. She was born July 4, 1941, to Ralph Emerson and Lenore Catherine (Parrish) Brandt.

Sharon graduated from Hutchinson High School. She worked at Dillons in the meat department and at Good Samaritan until her retirement in 2008.

On August 9, 1969, she married Kenneth William Pauls, in Hutchinson. They shared over 42 years of marriage, prior to his death on June 30, 2012.

Sharon is survived by: her children, Kelly (Jeffrey) Walters of Newton, KS, Debra (Martin) Mora of Lawrence, KS, and Cary (Amy) Pauls of Wheatland, MO; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, James and wife Kitty Brandt; and great-granddaughter, Anastasia Lilles.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 12 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Luke Helmuth officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign her memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
