Sharon Ann Poor, 80, died October 25, 2025, at her home, Hutchinson. She was born March 28, 1945, in Ellsworth, to Guy Everett and Sylvia Ann (Klima) Folk.

Sharon graduated from Holyrood High School in 1963. She attended Kansas State University, studying business. Sharon stayed at home and raised her daughters, before working at Hutchinson Clinic in financial services. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and working in her flower garden. Sharon also liked to spend time at the local bin stores. She was the best mother her children could have wished for. Sharon cherished being a grandmother; she was giving, loving and caring person.

Sharon is survived by: her daughters, Angela (Ron) Simmons of Pretty Prairie, and Stacie Petty of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Alyssa Nava, Myranda Shultz, Harley Petty, Ashley Davis, Jordan Gilbert and Nikeya Simmons; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; brother Ronald Folk; and sister-in-law, Janice Folk.

Cremation has taken place. In respect of Sharon's wishes no service will be held.
