Sharon A. Samms' Obituary
Sharon A. Samms, 62, died March 28, 2010, at her home in Hutchinson.
She was born April 26, 1947, in Kansas City, Mo., to Chester and Viola Cape Parker.
She graduated from Partridge High School in 1965. She had been a CNA/HHA for both Disability Supports and Mennonite Manor.
Sharon married George Edwin Samms Oct. 4, 1982, in Hutchinson. He also passed away March 28, 2010.
Survivors include two daughters, Cari Friesen and Teffanie Kinney; brother, Joe Cape; sister Elain Blevins; and five grandchildren, all of Hutchinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bobbie and LeRoy Cape; and a sister, Linda Ybarra.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2010, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Melvin Parrott presiding. Burial will be in Murdock Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary.
