Sharon Ann (Snyder) Bailey, 69, died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, and is now in the arms of our heavenly Father. She was born Aug. 8, 1946, to Jess W. and Anna Belle (Brawner) Snyder, in Hutchinson.
Sharon attended Hutchinson schools and worked hard her entire life at various places of employment.
In the early 1960's, she married John Cokeley. He survives. Together, they had three children who survive her: sons, Bud, Willie and wife Rene; daughter, Christina Casey and husband Tim; grandchildren, Cody, Holly, Linrhosha, Ezra, Kyle, Justin, Bryce, Rett, Sissy, and Elizabeth; great-granddaughter, Kaydo Jo; sister, Patricia Sparks and husband Bud; and uncle, Roy Brawner.
In 1989, she married Joe Dee Bailey in Hutchinson. Joe Dee survives of the home. Other survivors include: stepson, Joe Dee Bailey and his children, Amber, Jasma, and Hunter; foster children, Amber (Smith) Miears and husband Scott, Jeremy Cook; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and other family members.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; grandparents, Oliver and Elizabeth (Culp) Snyder, Virtus and Minnie Belle (Stalcup) Brawner; uncles, Benjamin and Oscar, uncle and aunt, Charles and Marcie (Stremel); aunts, Donna Brawner, Verta May (Brawner) Baird and Mary Belle (Doolan) Helzel.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2016, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with Pastor Tim Carey officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
