Sharron DeAnn (Lemen) Zimmerman, 80, of Sterling, KS, passed away January 6, 2023, in Hutchinson, KS. She was surrounded by family and friends.

Sharron was born September 26, 1942, in Hutchinson, KS, to Samuel Edward and Mabel Eska (Jones) Lemen.

She married Lester Dean Zimmerman on August 8, 1980, in Hutchinson, KS. They shared 42 years of marriage. She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1959. She worked for over 30 years at R.L. Polk Co. starting out as a proofer working her way up to supervisor for the production of phone books. Sharron collected ladybug items, enjoyed sewing, played solitaire, kept up with family and friends on social media, and loved all things crafting, even making her own greeting cards. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays especially Christmas.

Sharron is survived by: husband, Lester; sons, Robert "Bob" (Kim) Dick, Scott (Tammy) Dick; step-daughters, Lita and Lara Zimmerman; grandchildren, Savannah (Nick) Mittelstaedt, Danielle (Tony) Hathaway, Tiffany (Levi) Sterling, Jamie Dick and Jeffrey Wyse; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Lemen; sister, Shirley Ahrens; many nieces and nephews.

Sharron was preceded in death by: parents; grandson, Bruce Alan Dick; six brothers and three sisters.

Cremation has taken place.  No service is planned at this time.
