Shelley Lee Buch, 65, of Hutchinson, died Monday, October 15, 2018, at her home. She was born September 24, 1953, in Dodge City, the daughter of Stanley and Phyllis (Pinaire) Vogel.
Shelley graduated from Dodge City High School in 1971 and Wichita State University in 1975. She worked as an auditor for Advance Inventory Services. Shelley was a member of Church of the Holy Cross, Hutchinson, and the Holy Cross Altar Society. She loved to cook, attend craft shows, and follow her nieces and nephews sports and activities.
On November 24, 1995, Shelley married Michael E. Buch in Tucson, AZ. He survives. Also surviving are: stepson, Jon-Mikel Gates and spouse John Tuttle-Gates of Olympia, WA; stepdaughter, Alicia Guardado and husband Andrew of Fort Collins, CO; grandchildren, Reilly and Drew Guardado; brothers, David Vogel and wife Tricia of Hutchinson, Scott Vogel and wife Dena of Kinsley; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Christopher and Ned Vogel.
Parish Rosary will be 7 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Church of the Holy Cross, 2631 Independence Rd., Hutchinson, led by Father Aaron Spexarth. The family will greet friends following. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2018, at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Wright, KS, with Father Robert Schremmer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
