BURRTON - Sherry L. (Wicks) McKee, 50, passed away May 14, 2013, at Cancer Treatment Centers of American in Tulsa, Okla. She was born April 23, 1963, in Denver, Colo. to Roy and Erma (Janzen) Warner.

A 1981 graduate of Burrton High School, she later attended business school in Hutchinson. Sherry worked in the administrative office at the Hutchinson Mall and then was a secretary at the Reno County Courthouse. She later worked in quality control at Hospira in McPherson.

On Sept. 24, 2005, she married Sean McKee in Butler County. He survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Bradley Wicks, Hutchinson and Zach Hardin of the home; mother, Erma McKee, Burrton; brother, Miles Warner and wife Alice, Orange County, Calif.; two sisters, Tara Fessler and husband Scott, Andover and Mary Konig, Salem, Ore.; mother-in-law, Mary Gawith, Alvin, Texas; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews. Sherry was preceded in death by her stepfather, David J. McKee.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Elliott Chapel with Pastor Travis Heneha officiating. Burial will be in Burrton Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
