Obituary

Shirley A. Harding, 69, died May 8, 2007, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.

She was born on Sept. 5, 1937, in Liberal, the daughter of Raymond and Ruth Seward Hibler. She was a lifetime resident of Hutchinson. She graduated from Buhler High School in 1955. She was in the retail business.

She belonged to Red Hat Society, Silver Spurs Square Dancing Club and Windy Acres Motorcycle Club.

On May 27, 1966, she married Kenneth D. Harding in Newton. He survives.

Other survivors include: one son, David Harding and wife Camille, Wichita; four brothers, Otis Hibler, Fort Worth, Texas, Walt Hibler, Grandbury, Texas, Richard Hibler, Springtown, Texas, and Frankie Hibler, Keller, Texas; a sister, Wanda Killian, Hutchinson; two grandchildren, Dakota and Mackenzie Harding; 10 nephews and nieces; and 16 great nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Jo Hibler.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Elliott Chapel with Pastor John J. Carney presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday and family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elliot Chapel. Burial will be in Fairlawn Park.
