Stanton "Boyd" Spillman's Obituary
Stanton "Boyd" Spillman, 74, died Dec. 14, 2015. He was born Aug. 21, 1941, in Hoxie. Boyd worked 33 years at the Hutchinson Jackson Ice Cream plant. An avid outdoorsman who never knew a stranger, Boyd volunteered for numerous organizations benefiting children and less-fortunate families.
On Dec. 20, 1969, he married Lenora Spellman. She survives. Other survivors include: siblings, Ardith and Ron; and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2016, at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or the Boys and Girls Club, care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
