WICHITA - Stefanie I. Gisick, 33, of Wichita, died Feb. 2, 2011, at her home.

She was born Feb. 11, 1977, in Hutchinson, to Thomas M. and Katherine Ann Allen Gisick.

She was a longtime Hutchinson resident, moving to Wichita in 1998. She was a graduate of Hutchinson High School in 1995, Hutchinson Community College in 1997 and Wichita State University in 2000. She worked for Star Lumber and KPTS. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Lysle Rishel Post #68.

Survivors include: her father, Tom Gisick and wife, Carol, and mother, Kathy Colley and husband Steve, all of Hutchinson; brothers, Brian Gisick and his fiancé Jessica of Lawrence; step-brothers, Brian Culver of Hutchinson and Brent Colley of Hutchinson; step-sisters, Sally Culver and her fiancé Tyler England of Hutchinson, and Jenna Weidman and husband Terry of Pleasant Valley, Mo.; grandmothers, Roberta Allen and Ida Mae Gisick, both of Hutchinson; a niece, five nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and all of her close extended Wichita family. She was preceded in death by grandfathers, Gene Gisick and Mike Allen.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Tim Yates officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Family will receive friends 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary.
