Stella Ann Joseph, 61, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on August 30, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones.  She was born November 26, 1957, in Clinton, OK, the daughter of James and Irene (Fletcher) Howlingcrane.  Stella graduated from Corn Bible Academy, Corn, OK, and attended Hesston College.  She worked as a CNA/MedAide at Pleasant View Home, Inman, for many years.

Stella is survived by: children, Christopher Joseph, Victoria Joseph, Danielle Joseph, Johnathan Joseph; grandchildren, Alexander Nava, Zain Joseph, Kale Hemphill, all of Hutchinson; parents, Layman and Dorothy Slagell, Hydro, OK; siblings, Georgia Emhoolah (James), Oklahoma City, OK, Clyde Fletcher (Cindi), Okmulgee, OK, Rita Oliver (Edward), Charlevoix, MI, Dale Slagell (Rosita), Weatherford, OK, Leann Goosen (Kim), Corn, OK, Gaylon Slagell (Carin), The Woodlands, TX, Geneva Penner (Hal), Weatherford, OK, Della Kelly, Corn, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her birth parents.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2019, at Elliott Chapel.  Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
