Stephen Joe "Steve" Bowman, 50, died Sept. 19, 2011, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
He was born Aug. 29, 1961, in Okemah, Okla., to Willie V. and Leona Elvina Ingram Bowman.
Steve attended school in Great Bend and Hoisington.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: a daughter, Makayla Bowman, Hutchinson; son, Spencer Rubel, Kearney, Neb.; brother, Michael Bowman, Overland Park; sister, Theresa Habiger, Great Bend; step-mother, Lou Bowman, Kingman.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, is in charge of arrangements.
