Steve Keyser, 61, of Hutchinson, died Feb. 3, 2011, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. He was born July 14, 1949, in Hutchinson, to John O. and Ethel I. Shinkle Keyser.

He was a lifetime resident of Hutchinson. He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1967. He worked for Carey Salt Company and Cessna/Eaton Corporation.

He married Marie E. McReynolds April 10, 1971, in Hutchinson. She survives. Other survivors include: son, Oliver Keyser and his wife Sara of Hutchinson; daughters, Carrie Miller and husband Dennis of Louisburg, Kan., and Dawn Trantham and husband Kevin of Wichita; brothers, John and Marvin, both of Hutchinson; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack; and a granddaughter, Lacie.

Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Elliott Chapel, with Richard Foster officiating. Friends may sign the book 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Elliott Mortuary. Family will receive friends 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Lincoln Grade School in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson.
