Sue E. Gore, 74, a retired cook and formerly of Hutchinson, died April 30, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born August 9, 1948, in Hutchinson, the daughter of William R. and Lola Fern (Uncapher) Demoret.

Sue was a graduate of Hutchinson High School and Hutchinson Community College. She married Jimmie Gore on July 24, 1988, in Hutchinson. He died August 20, 2016.

Sue is survived by: three stepchildren; her brother, Bob Demoret of Hutchinson; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her husband; a son, Kenneth Lee Bankey, Jr.; her parents; three brothers; and one sister.

The family will celebrate Sue's life from 10:00 a.m. until noon Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Gazebo #6, located in Carey Park near the Salt City Splash Aquatic Center, Hutchinson. Please come casual and bring a covered dish for lunch.
