Sue Wagler, 80, died on February 26, 2023, at Hospice House. She was born June 7, 1942, in Hutchinson, to Gilbert and Alta (Schmidt) Marteney.

Sue graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1960, and then attended Hutchinson Community College. She was a homemaker and a farmer's wife. Sue enjoyed reading, puzzles, and spending time with friends.

On January 26, 1963, she married Raymond J. Wagler, in Hutchinson. They shared 57 years before his passing on February 12, 2020.

Sue is survived by: daughter, Cristie Wagler, Hutchinson; sons, Joel Wagler (Dara), Lawrence, Jon Wagler, Eudora; grandson, Gabe Wagler, Lawrence; and many nieces and cousins.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; son, Linc Wagler; and brothers, Leonard, Charles, and James Marteney.

Graveside service will be 11 am Friday, March 10, 2023, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may sign the book from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday with family present from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
