Susan Marie Watson, 77, died November 9, 2021, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was born January 4, 1944, in Colby, to Harry O. and Novella (Jenkins) Thompson.

Susan graduated from Buhler High School in 1962. She worked in financial institutions for many years, starting as a teller and retiring as a loan officer. Susan was an avid dog lover and was a member of Hutchinson Kennel Club. She also loved horses and spent some time working on a horse farm.

Susan married Robert Watson. They later divorced.

She is survived by: sons, Mackie Watson and wife Gidget of Hutchinson, Michael Watson and wife Lea of Baldwin; 7 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Steve Thompson of Hutchinson; and many extended family members.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place. A Come-and-Go Celebration of Life will be held from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Elliott Mortuary. Private family inurnment has taken place in Memorial Park Cemetery.
