Suzanne Brown, 85, died peacefully October 7, 2023, at Hester Care Center, Hutchinson.  She was born January 16, 1938, in Hutchinson, to Kenneth E. and Mercedes E. (Ellis) Sentney.

Suzanne graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1956, and received her bachelor's degree from Kansas University.  She was an active member of the Hutchinson Hospital Auxiliary, serving as a past president and volunteer coordinator. In addition, Suzanne served on the board for Hutchinson Regional Medical Center and was active in Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Hutchinson.

On December 30, 1961, she married Charles N. Brown, Jr., in Hutchinson.  He died October 23, 2011, just a few months shy of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Suzanne is survived by:  son, Todd Brown (Heather) of Hutchinson; daughter, Heather Holland of Wichita; grandchildren, Bretley Brown (MacKenzi), Easton Brown, Averie Brown, Eric Holland (Leah), Hollyann Schon (Andrew), and Haley Holland; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by:  her parents and a brother, Kenneth E. Sentney, Jr.

Private services will take place, with inurnment in the Grace Episcopal Church Columbarium.
