Sylvia Jean Hodges-Foos' Obituary
HAVEN - Sylvia Jean Hodges-Foos, 66, died Nov. 5, 2009, at Mennonite Manor, South Hutchinson.
She was born Aug. 3, 1943, in Arkansas City, the daughter of James William and Naomi Inez Long Loyd.
She graduated from Derby High School, Derby, and received nurse's training from Winfield Hospital, Winfield. A resident of Haven, she was a retired librarian for Haven Middle School.
In 1991, she married Danny R. Foos in Wichita. He survives.
Survivors include: sons, Ryan Hodges, Dodge City, and Steven Foos, Los Angeles; daughter, Holly Lee, Ponca City, Okla.; sisters, Rosie Cassell, Wichita, and Lana Fanello, Phoenix; and five grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be sent to American Cancer Society in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory.
