Obituary

Teagan Joe Lomax, 13, of Nickerson, died February 4, 2022. He was born April 1, 2008, in Hutchinson, to Joe and Lacy (Thiel) Lomax.

Teagan was a student at Reno Valley Middle School. He loved sports and was a huge Chiefs fan. Teagan played QB1 for the football team, point guard for basketball, and first base for baseball. He loved to spend time with his friends and in the summertime you could find him with them at the pool every day.

Teagan is survived by: father, Joe Lomax, Nickerson; mother, Lacy Lomax, South Hutchinson; brothers, Keegan Hicks, Colorado, Trey McKee, South Hutchinson; sisters, Kaedence McKee, Plevna, Nevaeh Lomax, Nickerson; grandparents, Patty and Bob Lansdown, Hutchinson, Glenn Rogge, Nickerson, Rick and Kathy Thiel, South Hutchinson; nephew, Colson McKee, South Hutchinson; uncle, Ken Thiel, Hutchinson; aunt, Jenni Rogge, Hutchinson; cousins, Garrett, Gunner, Jace, Willow, Jade, America, Pistol Blade, Pistol Christian, Nichole Holliday; best friends, who were like brothers, Addrick and Atton Nelson, Zane Farney; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marla Rogge, and stepfather, Alexander Dennis.

Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022, at Crosspoint Church, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, at Elliott Mortuary.
