Tearia Kay Worthington Brotzman, 21, died March 6, 2012, at Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in Wichita.
She was born Feb. 18, 1991, in Lyons, to Stephen E. Worthington and Annette (Harbert) Self.
A lifetime Hutchinson resident, she attended Hutchinson High School.
On Jan. 14, 2011, she married Ryan Brotzman, in Oklahoma. He survives.
Other survivors include: her father, Stephen E. Worthington and "stepmom-type-thing" Stacy Valentine of Hutchinson; mother, Annette Self of Wichita; baby sister, Tiffany Worthington of Hutchinson; grandfather, Jim Harbert of Midwest City, Okla.; grandmother, MaryAnn Worthington of Hutchinson; great-grandmother, Mildred King of Midwest City, Okla.; half brother, Stephen W. Worthington and half sister, Margaret Naegele, both of Hutchinson. Tearia was preceded in death by her half brother, Kyle Lee Harbert; grandfather, William M. Worthington; and grandmother, Louise Harbert.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, with Reverend Amy Dame officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with the family to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be made to The Children's Kidney Foundation, in care of the mortuary.
