Terry Lyn Hamilton, 62, died December 11, 2023, at home.  He was born June 23, 1961, in Elizabeth, LA, to Ernest Lee and Patsy Sue (Garlington) Hamilton.

Terry served in the United States Army from 1979 to 1982.  He was a retired roofer, and enjoyed working on vehicles, remodeling homes, and coloring.

On May 11, 2001, he married Coleen Reed, in Hutchinson.

Terry is survived by:  his wife of 22 years, Coleen Hamilton; daughter, Erica Nicole (Hamilton) King; four grandchildren; three sisters; two stepsons; one stepdaughter; one sister-in-law; and one brother-in-law.

He was preceded in death by:  his parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; numerous aunts and uncles; and a nephew, Anthony Johnson.

Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the American Legion Lysle Rishel Post 68, 730 W. 4th, Hutchinson, with military honors conducted by the Fort Riley Honor Guard.  Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Terry Hamilton Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS  67501.
