Terry Ray O'Dell, 66, of Wichita, died December 17, 2023, at Paramount Community Living and Rehab, Newton. He was born January 23, 1957, in Terre Haute, IN, to James William and Reba (Driver) O'Dell.

Terry worked as a tuck pointer, and was a member of the International Union of Bricklayers Union and later, as a custodian for Tuscola Schools, Tuscola, IL.  He enjoyed refinishing furniture, gardening, watching western movies, and reading, especially Louis L'Amour western novels.  Terry was also a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan.  He and his first wife, Susie, had two daughters, Rachel and Amy.  Despite going their separate ways, they remained close friends, and Terry was included in all the family get-togethers.

Terry is survived by:  daughters, Rachel Ragan and husband Michael of Wichita and Amy Dinwoodie of Salina; grandchildren, Renae and Elenore Ragan and Ava and Dallas Ford; brother, James O'Dell; half-sister, Deena Rothermel; and Rachel and Amy's mother and stepfather, Susie Ford and husband (Gregory).

He was preceded in death by:  his parents and wife, Jessica O'Dell.

Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date in Tuscola, IL.  Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS is in charge of arrangements.
