Obituary

Theda Arlene Lee, 87, died Jan. 7, 2011, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.

She was born Nov. 1, 1923, in rural Little River, the daughter of Percy Alvin and Hilda Hubenett Lee.

She graduated from Hutchinson High School, Hutch JUCO, and Adela Hale. She worked for civil services living in Japan for 2 1/2 years. Later in life she worked and retired as a Medical Technologist at Hutchinson Clinic. Theda was a member of Emanual Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the W.E.L.C.A. Circle #4. Theda was always interested in mission work.
Survivors include: a sister, Phyllis Greatwood, Hutchinson; nephew, Larry Lee Greatwood, Las Vegas, Nevada; a great-niece; and four great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and special grandfather Peter O. Hubenett.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at Emanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Tim Carey presiding.

Friends may sign the book 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today through Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
