Thelma R. Headings' Obituary
Thelma Ruth Headings, 79, died Nov. 21, 2006, at Dillon Living Center, Hutchinson.
She was born April 11, 1927, near Galva, Iowa, the daughter of Grant T. and Ida Mae Snodgrass Larrance. In 1945, she graduated from Hutchinson High School. A resident of Hutchinson since 2003, formerly of Hesston, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Golden Plains Free Methodist Church, Newton.
On April 3, 1955, she married Noah S. Headings in Hutchinson. He died Sep. 16, 2006.
Survivors include: a son in law, Ray Lee Delehoy and wife, Keturah, Partridge; and four grandchildren, Shawn Delehoy, Kayla Naiman, Jaron Delehoy, and Ariane Delehoy.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Noleta Kay Delehoy on Sep. 29, 1996.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Mel Parrott presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Elliott Chapel. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum.
Memorials may be sent to Hickory Homes of Hesston or American Diabetes Association in care of Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
