Thelma Florence Marsh, 91, died August 27, 2012 at Mennonite Friendship Communities. She was born February 7, 1921 to Richard Nels and Louise Sophia Oleson Pearson in Fostoria, Clay County, Iowa. She married Orville D. Marsh on February 17, 1939 in Lakefield Min. He died December 21, 2004. Thelma was a homemaker and a beautician, graduating from Sidney's hairdressing school. She was a member of the Burrton Garden Club and the Silver Leaf Chapter #464 Order of Eastern Star, where she received her 50 year pin.

Survivors include; daughter, Karen Sims and husband Richard, South Hutchinson; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; sisters Phyllis Bergman, Iowa; Laura Jo Sarver, FL; Anita Carpenter, MI; brothers, Tom Pearson, Iowa; Gary Pearson, ID. She was preceded in death by her; parents, sister Leona Kabrick, and brothers, Leroy, Paul, Charles and Richard Pearson.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 31, 2012 at Elliott Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Timothy Yates presiding. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Kansas in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS.
