Theodore R. Wilt's Obituary
SYLVIA ñ Theodore R. Wilt, 89, died March 12, 2006, at Infinia Health Care Center.
He was born Jan. 21, 1917, in Plevna, the son of Harry Oscar and Edna Clement Wilt. A lifetime Sylvia and Reno County resident, he worked in maintenance at K.S.I.R., had his own repair shop and worked as a mechanic at the former Chevrolet dealership in Sylvia.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.
Survivors include: two brothers, Warren, Abbyville, and Woody, Nickerson; and several nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence, Ralph and George; and a sister, Virginia Hunt.
Funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Pastor Tim Elsner presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sterling Cemetery.
