Thomas "Tom" W. Claypole, 50, died August 5, 2009 at his home in Hutchinson. He was born Nov. 4, 1958 in Hutchinson to Donald L. & Elizabeth Jewett Claypole. A lifetime Hutchinson resident he retired as a carpenter from Collins Corporation.

Surviviors include son, Jeremy Claypole; father Donald L. Claypole, both of Hutchinson; brother, Bill Claypole & wife Janice, Wichita; sister Debbie Yutzy & husband Roger, Hutchinson; mother of children Patty Weber; stepchildren Amanda White & Justin White, all of Hutchinson; nephew Shane Claypole, Wichita; & niece Beth Souza, Tulsa, OK.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Elliott Chapel with Reverend Sara Davis Blodgett officiating. Visitation will be 9am to 9pm Sunday and Monday at Elliott Mortuary.
