HAVEN - Thomas R. Gilmore, 59, died June 10, 2011, at Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis, Wichita.

He was born Jan. 24, 1952, in Hutchinson, the son of William C. and Irene G. Graber Gilmore.

He graduated from Haven Rural High School in 1970 and attended Southwestern College. Tom was a facility maintenance supervisor for the Hutchinson Correctional Facility and he also farmed near Haven and Buhler. He was a member of Haven United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Adrienne Freeman, of the home; a daughter, Ashley Gilmore, Council Bluffs, Iowa; a son, Clayton Gilmore, Haven; his mother, Irene Gilmore, Haven; a brother, Sam Gilmore and wife Connie, Lampe, Mo.; and two sisters, Nancy Cokeley and husband Major, Haven, and Norma Hale and husband Don, Ontario, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2011, at Elliott Chapel. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and until service. Inurnment will follow in Laurel Cemetery, Haven.
