Thomas M. "Tom" McGuire, 65, of Hutchinson, died Nov. 14, 2012, at Hospice House.

Tom was born Oct. 25, 1947, in Hutchinson, the son of James F. and F. Joan Chambers McGuire.

He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1965 and attended Hutchinson Community College. Tom was a journeyman pipefitter and welder. He was a member of the Pipefitters Local Union #363, the Great Plains Antique Tractor Club, and was a regular at Skaets Coffee Shop.

Tom married DeeAnn Hall on July 1, 1967, in Hutchinson. She survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Ryan McGuire and wife Michelle of Bentonville, Ark.; a daughter, Kelly Nelson and husband Bradley of Hutchinson; a sister, Marcy Blackford and husband Earl of Tulsa, Okla.; and three grandsons, Matt and Derek McGuire, and Zachary Nelson. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Candace.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Inurnment will be at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with Pastor Jeanine I. Rishel presiding.
