HAYSVILLE - Thora M. "Jean" Olson, 81, of Haysville, died Feb. 20, 2011.
Born Jan. 16, 1930, in Hutchinson, daughter of William Lee and Elizabeth Cain VanZandt.
She attended school in Partridge and lived most of her life in Wichita. She was a florist for Mueller's Flowers and a member of V.F.W. Post #112 Auxiliary in Wichita.
Survivors include: sons, Doug Stephen, Dane Olson (Sigrid) and Cordell Adams (Carrie); daughters, Dana Caywood (Dan) and Donita Weber (Bruce); sisters, Kathleen Barnhart and Fauntell Swafford; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by grandson J.D. Stephen.
Services at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011, at the Partridge Community Church in Partridge with the Rev. Sam Askew presiding. Burial: Partridge Cemetery. Friends may sign a register book at Elliott Mortuary on Wednesday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Partridge Community Church or Haysville Health Care Center, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
