Tina Marie Hilger, 52, of Hutchinson, died September 16, 2026, at Hospice House, surrounded by her loved ones. Tina was born September 19, 1973 in Hutchinson, KS to Leon and Karen (Harrington) Patterson.

Tina graduated from Buhler High School with the class of 1992. She attended college at Hutchinson Community College and Kansas State University. Tina spent many years working out of her home as a day care provider. Tina was well known in the daycare community as she cared for her daycare kids like they were her own. Recently, she worked along with her husband and best friends at PrairieLand Partners in Hutchinson, KS as a service advisor.

On February 11, 2012, she married the love of her life Eric Hilger, at Holy Cross in Hutchinson. They shared 14 years of marriage and an eternity of love before her passing.

Tina always enjoyed playing sports like volleyball and softball in her younger years. Later in life, you could find Tina coaching or watching all three of her kids in some type of sport almost everyday of the week. Tina always loved off-roading with her family and friends. She loved to spend her free time winning in cards against her family. However, above all else Tina loved spending time with her family especially her children and beloved grandchild.

Tina is survived by: beloved husband, Eric Hilger of the home; children Brittany (Brock) Williams of Broken Arrow, OK, Kelsi (Kiah) Hilger, and Brock Hilger of Hutchinson; adored granddaughter, Raelynn Marie Williams; parents Leon and Karen Patterson of Hutchinson; siblings Jenny (Justin) Scarrow of Mankato, KS, Stacie (Bobby) Lynch, Tracie Patterson, Travis (Amber) Patterson, all of Hutchinson; father and mother-in-law, Neal and Geri Hilger of Mt. Hope; sister and brother-in-law, Liz (Kent) Wise of Wichita, and Nick (Beth) Hilger of Garden Plain.

The viewing will be Tuesday, September 22, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church (2633 Independence Rd, Hutchinson). During this time a rosary will be held by Father Jerome Spexarth starting at 6:30 p.m. Viewing will continue following the rosary. On Wednesday September 23, 2026 funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m at the church of Holy Cross. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Hutchinson.
