Todd Allen Schroeder, 53, died Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at South Lake, Texas. He was born February 16, 1964, in Goessel, the son of James and Carolyn (Seckler) Schroeder.

He had been an owner-operator truck driver. The companies he had driven for were: Sunglo Feeds, Hesston, Grasshopper Mowers, Moundridge, and Groendyke Trucking, Hutchinson.  His passions in his off-time were fishing and NASCAR events.

On May 14, 1999, he married Christyn Arlene Pendlay in Goessel. She survives. Also surviving are: son, Ronn King of Larned; father, James; mother, Carolyn Foley; brother, Brent, all of Wichita; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Todd and Christyn had a passion for Victory Junction, a camp for children in North Carolina.

Memorial service will be at a later date when Christyn is ready to deliver Todd and her Victory Junction Bears. Cremation will take place following visitation. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson.
