Tom W. Hayse, 70, of Hutchinson, died December 18, 2021, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born October 8, 1951, in Greensburg, to Charles and Alice (McKinley) Hayse.

Tom graduated from Greensburg High School and Pittsburg State University. He was retired from his position as a supervisor at Takako Manufacturing. Tom also worked for many years as an autobody mechanic. He enjoyed old cars, car shows, and NASCAR. Tom also enjoyed playing pool and classic rock.

On September 10, 1985, he married Lea Anne Newburn, in Hutchinson.

Tom is survived by; wife, Lea Anne Hayse, Hutchinson; sons, Steven Hayse (Megan), South Hutchinson, Brandon Nobbs (Jessica), St. Cloud, Florida; daughter, Lacey Herren, Hutchinson; grandsons, Elijah Kline, Cody Joe Black, Thomas Nobbs, Jason Nobbs; brothers, Phil Hayse (Arlene), Lyons, Joel Hayse (Pat), Geneva, Nebraska; sisters, Beth Kershner and Ruth Hayse, both of Scott City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Ron Kershner.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Elliott Mortuary. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Thursday and Monday, at Elliott Mortuary.
