Tommy G. Delventhal, 80, died July 15, 2009 at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born May 27, 1929 to Fred H. "Jack" & Arvilla Mae Toms Delventhal.

He served in the United States Army during WWII and the Korean War.

On Jan. 30, 1950 he married Marjorie L. Roberts in Eureka Springs, Ark. She died Sept. 23, 2008.

A lifetime resident of Nickerson, he was a custom harvester & farmer. He belonged to the Nickerson Boat Club and the Daily Coffee Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Lana G. Showalter & husband John and Amy L. Conner, all of Hutchinson; two sons, Randy E. Delventhal, Houston, TX and Steven M. "Mike" Delventhal, Hutchinson; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Partridge Cemetery with Chaplain Sara Davis Blodgett officiating. Visitation will be Friday 9:00 am-9:00 pm with the family receiving friends from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at Elliott Mortuary.
