Toss "Tk" Bachus' Obituary
Toss "TK" Bachus, 90, died Monday, March 23, 2015. He was born Oct. 5, 1924, at Abbyville, the son of Perry and Eva (Benson) Bachus.
He was a 1942 graduate of Abbyville High School, a member of Abbyville Community Church, a Westminister Township trustee for many years and a farmer in the Abbyville/Plevna community.
On Jan. 31, 1951, he married Phyllis Sherrill Frazier in Hutchinson. She survives. Other survivors include: their children, Beverly Withroder of Santa Fe, NM, Philip of Independence, Mo.; granddaughter, Stephanie (Aubrey) Espinosa of Trophy Club, Texas; and three great-grandchildren, JT, Isabel and Olivia. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Cloyce, Floyd, Myrtle, Freda, Lela and Emma Pearl.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Dale Levering presiding. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the church or Gentiva Hospice, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
