Tracy Wayne Thrash, 44, died July 29, 2006, at his home, Hutchinson.
He was born Sept. 9, 1961, in Wichita, the son of Ralph and Joan Thrash. He graduated from Newton High School in 1979. A Hutchinson resident since 1980, he was an entrepreneur, owning his own maintenance and restoration business in Allbright. He was active in Big Top Fireworks and a janitorial business in conjunction with his brother, Russell, working for Thrash Floor Maintenance for several years. He also worked in the grocery business and became a master meat cutter working at Jack & Jill.
He belonged to Eastwood Church of Christ, Hutchinson.
Survivors include: his parents, Hutchinson; two sons, Travis Wayne and Trevor Alan Thrash, of the home; three brothers, Russell and wife, Suzanne, Wichita, Scott and wife, Carol, Becker, Minn., and Darin and wife, Joyce, South Hutchinson; and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with Ernie Bishop and Wayne DeWindt presiding. Friends may sign the book from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.
