Travis J. Dreiling, 26, died Dec. 18, 2005, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, select Specialty Hospital, Wichita.

He was born March 7, 1979, in Hutchinson, the son of Tim and Shellie L. Hale Dreiling. He was a 1997 graduate of Nickerson High School. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, he was a chef at Houlihan's Restaurant.

He was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include: his parents, Tim Dreiling and wife Kim, Hutchinson, Shellie L. Hughes, Hutchinson; a sister, Amber Dreiling, Hutchinson; fiancee, Addie Irwin, Hutchinson; grandparents, Laurine Dreiling, Great Bend, Roy and Margaret Hale, Hutchinson; a nephew, Kerick Wright, Hutchinson; uncles, Mike, Roy, Tom and Paul Dreiling, all of Wichita, Loren, Rodger, Galen and Mark Dreiling and Kelly Hale, all of Hutchinson, Jerry Dreiling, Pfeifer, Duane, David and Neal Dreiling, all of Great Bend; aunts, Elaine Clouse, Kingman, Norine Hamby, Hutchinson, and Colleen Thode, Partridge.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Norbert Dreiling and Sharon Borders.

Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Hutchinson. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, with Fathers Stuart M. Smeltzer and Ned J. Blick presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.
