HUTCHINSON - Trebor Dalin Coffey, 38, died Oct. 15, 2006, at Hutchinson Hospital.
He was born June 5, 1968, in Hutchinson, the son of Robert Owen and Caroline Faye Stewart Coffey. A longtime Hutchinson resident, he was a certified optician, working the last 15 years at Payton Optical.
He belonged to Crossroads Christian Church, was a member, past master and past district deputy grand master of the Hutchinson Reno Masonic Lodge No. 124. He was a York Rite Mason, past patron of the Silver Leaf Chapter No. 464 Order of the Eastern Star and past president of the Optician Association of Kansas. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve during Desert Storm.
On Oct. 30, 1994, he married Alicia Kay Leonard in Hugoton. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Kevin James, Hutchinson, and Dalin Owen David, of the home; three daughters, Jamey Lee Tipton and her husband, Michael, Hutchinson, and Kalin Nadine Faye Coffey and Taylor Kay Coffey, both of the home; his parents, Hutchinson; three brothers, Robert II, Palmer, Alaska, Brian C., Martinez, Ga., and Henry E. Huebner, El Dorado; grandmother, Itha G. Henson, Holdenville, Okla.; father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Patricia Leonard; and a grandson, Razee Tipton.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Jack Coffey.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Crossroads Christian Church, Hutchinson, with Pastor Wayne Pittman presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, with Masonic graveside rites conducted by the Hutchinson-Reno Masonic Lodge No. 124.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Coffey Children's Education Fund, in care of the funeral home.
