Treva L. Schartz's Obituary
Treva L. Schartz, 78, died Nov. 15, 2005, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born Sept. 19, 1927, in Wilson, the daughter of Victor and Mabel Eaton Saunders. A Hutchinson resident since 1967, moving from California, she was a secretary and later worked at 30th Street Alco as a clerk.
She belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Survivor include: three daughters, Monica Couch, Horse Shoe, N.C., Stephanie Schartz, Loomis, Calif., and Connie Schartz, Oakland, Calif.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Michael Schartz; a sister, and her brothers.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Fairlawn Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Michael P. Milliken presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Cremation has been selected. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to the VFW Auxiliary, in care of the mortuary.
